The Aims of the Patient Participation Group
We would like a group that is representative of all our patients; patients from all age groups, parents, carers, patients with disabilities, and patients from ethnic backgrounds. Don’t worry if you think you won’t have time or are unable to attend meetings due to work or carer commitments as we can email out surveys or questionnaires to give your opinions on topics to be discussed. It’s your engagement that counts.
If you would like to become a member of Sunnyside’s Patient Group (PPG), please click on the link below and complete the form, or give your name and email address at reception. For more information please contact Lin Rees, Practice Manager or email cioscib.sunnysideletters@nhs.net
Getting Your View
The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible.
We would like to be representative of the whole patient population, but are under-represented in many areas – the majority of current members are over 50, mostly female, white British in origin, and have no significant physical disabilities – therefore, we would really appreciate anyone who does not fit that description to join us, give us the benefit of your experience, and help us to be more representative.
We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
